Joseph May holds a JD from Creighton Law School. Joseph is a seasoned attorney specializing in U.S. securities law and fund formation. With a background in both Big Law and boutique advisory, Joe has worked with a broad spectrum of clients — from first-time founders to institutional fund managers.
Prior to starting May Law Group Joseph May spent 10 years working with different startups in various roles leading and advising companies on fundraising and various regulatory issues. After being involved in his latest startup failure, Mr. May returned to the legal space full-time to assist investment funds and companies in fundraising and avoiding regulatory pitfalls.
His mission is simple: provide practical, business-aligned legal advice that accelerates deals, protects stakeholders, and avoids unnecessary complexity.
